yours is only an unproved and improvable hypothesis. On the other hand,
I would argue that it is precisely Hashem Who gives us our enemies,
maybe because the State that was established here, on His Land, is Zionistic
as opposed to being Jewish. This State didn't know a day of peace in its history
and Judaism associates peace with divine approval. So something we must
do wrong, I'm afraid and the macroscopic difference between Torah and
what we have on the ground here is the complete lack of our Torah
institutions: The Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the
Sanhedrin, just courts in every village and a king to enforce Torah Law.
This is the institutional setup we are required to run in Eretz Israel
and until we do it I don't think we'll have peace: Why should we? Are we glorifying His name in the world? No, we are trying to be a poor carbon copy of the nations with our mock democracy that someone calls Israeli deMOCKracy.
