What?!

B"H
 - "Religious pluralism" and "interreligious relations" are NOT Torah concepts and therefore, well, all the consequences of this. Do I need to spell them out? Besides, these "prominent xtian leaders" pray to yeshu, to their man-god, that the Jews see as Avodah Zarah, idol worshipping, strictly forbidden on the Land. They even do it publicly and they are proud of it. So, these Shalom Hartman Institute people, again, do I need to spell it all out? From a Torah prospective not at all good, however.

Olympic Values vs Jewish Values

B"H
 - Chassidic London Jew Ephraim Goldstein evidently is not well versed in Torah and in Jewish history: Many thousands of our ancestors were brutally murdered as slave gladiators under the "olympic spirit" and even the modern "games" are intrinsically hedonistic and therefore from a Jewish prospective any association with this Hellenistic fest is condemnable.

Orly Azoulay On Ynetnews.com

B"H
 - Orly Azoulay and with her Ynetnews.com is lying. I saw an interview with Netanyahu on Fox and he openly refused to enter into any questions regarding "American politics". So no, Orly Azoulay, if anything the PM does exactly the opposite of what you are accusing him of and I'm not a Netanyahu fan. You are dishonest in trying to manufacture a story that has no factual base, out of thin air. What you do is also known as party-political propaganda and it belongs to party-run and party-financed outlets, not to an international Israeli news website!

- ABY: The “Colorado Batman Massacre might have been prevented if there were worst anti-gun laws and people could shoot a perpetrator before he does the damage. Stop using every tragedy for one-sided political purposes, it is unlikely that a criminal cannot arm himself on the black market, if he wants to. They Were All Seculars. What Does It Tell You?

B"H
-"Tourism" is Western, it is not a Jewish thing. The Torah tells us not to leave the Land if not for three pressing reasons: Torah study, parnassa and shiduch. In Judaism nothing is by chance. As "Tourism" is a secular thing and accordingly the victims of last week's terror attack on Jews in Bulgaria were all Torah-refusing seculars who thought they know better, the question arises: What were they doing there? One of the possible answers is that Hashem operates in ingenious ways and by having these people killed this way He saved them from hell, effectively doing them a huge favor. Causing the mourners great pain in this world is also a part of this possible scenario, one that will not be understood nor accepted by them.

No Answer To Terrorism? Haber!

B"H

 - Of course there is an answer to terrorism! Deciding to win the war instead of trying to appease the terrorists, which is the left's liberal Rabin/Peres/Haber/Obama way. Just because your tactic didn’t, doesn't and will not work because it cannot work, you must not assume that there is not a single alternative winning tactic! Your failure to admit you were wrong all along is costing Jewish lives, Haber!

"Tourism" Is A Secular Thing

 B”H
 - Jews are leaving this world in smoke and fire, by the hands of gentiles, again. Whereas it’s not a pretty picture, no one seems to ask the only relevant question concerning this: What were they doing there at the first place? Aren’t our Torah telling us not to leave the Land of Israel if not for three specific pressing reasons: Torah study, parnassa or shidduch? "Tourism" is not contemplated. Maybe Hashem sends a message, many Jews just don't want to hear?

A spokesperson for the Border Guard stated that.. This incident is unusual and does not represent the valuable work that the Border Guard officers do for the security of the state.

Comment: Even when they do the right thing and kick a Palestinian boy, they do it for the security of the “State”, not of the “Jews”. When the State tells them to kick and harm Jews, they kick and harm Jews.

Bleah, Disgusting Erev Rav

B"H
 – It’s better not to talk to xtians. The Rambam (Rabbi Moshe ben Maimonide, 1138–1204) says Not to show interest in them. Also, Jews bury their dead immediately, directly to the ground, in a talit (prayer shawl) without tzitzit (the fringes). Would a State that declares itself Jewish bury its dead (Shamir) in a coffin? Or delay his burial to put his coffin on display? Bleah, disgusting erev rav (mixed multitude) that rule over us, the Jews, on The Land of Israel!

Re: # 3

B"H
 - I don't see how a comment on a ynetnews article can be perceived as "showing off", unless of course one is bent on publicly humiliating the commentator. This can happen for personal reasons or on ideological grounds and I’m inclined to suggest the second one. Anyhow, what I would like to point out here is that "the custom of secondary burial in ossuaries did not persist among Jews past the Second Temple period nor appear to exist among Jews outside the Land of Israel”. As far as delaying a burial for whatever reason is concerned, well, it also goes against halacha, Jewish Law. I don’t see why  #3 mentions Derech Eretz: We widely follow Rav. Hirsch on this and we don’t allow it to override halacha. In conclusion, it is perfectly reasonable at least to ask for editorial censorship reasons: Is the State of Israel Jewish? Evidently # 3 feels strongly about this particular topic.

Is The State Of Israel Jewish?

B”H
 -    Interesting, I thought Jews bury their dead directly in earth in a talit (prayer-shawl), without tzitzit. I read somewhere that Jews use caskets only for “peace’s sake” in foreign lands, under anti-Jewish foreign rulers, in places where Jewish burring in talits would constitute a scandal. Even in those cases the caskets would be left open in the bottom, to allow direct contact with the earth.
