On "Israel: Rise of the Right"

B"H

On YouTube video "Israel: Rise of the Right

Over and above the instant pleasure of seeing friends and acquaintances, as well as myself, this report does bring to the forth a number of disturbing issues and questions. So, let's look at them one by one separately, not forgetting that in real life they present themselves together, providing a powerful lens that distorts reality.

- The author, filmmaker and commentator, Ilan Mizrahi’s ideology is in doubt. Is he a Kahaneist? In the milieu he is perceived as a such, yet his work is co-signed by Al Jazeera English, a network that openly supports Israel’s enemies, like Hezbollah. If he is a Kahaneist, is it kosher for him to sell himself and his work to the enemy? On the other hand, if he is not a Kahaneist, how come that he enjoyed and continues to enjoy the status of an “insider”? He says of himself: “I followed Ben-Gvir for 15 years and I earned his trust”. As if he was saying to us “I’m a spy, I successfully infiltrated the organization”.

- The film is introduced by a voice, declaring the shift in Israeli politics to the right at the last elections as “dangerous”.

- Not only. Un-Jewish terminology like “West Bank”, “Settlements”, Settlers”, “Occupied Palestinian Territory” etc. does creep in to the reporting.

- The film is centered around the “Israeli flag march” on Uhm al-Fahm, an Arab village in Israel. This by itself is problematic. As it was important for the organizers to present the march as a “success”, so it was for the secular and “democratic” State and for the Police too: an unnatural and temporary association was established. To lie. My comment on the issue was censored by ynet.

- Reporting the National Union party’s activity and activists as “Israel’s right” is questionable. There are other people and other groups doing things, like the followers of Mr. Feiglin who join him in licking the boots of the Likud party. At last but not at least there are a good number of those who, like myself, don’t believe in the participation in the state’s “democratic” institutions: no change can come from the anti-Torah establishment. As Jews we are told to thrive for and establish our Jewish, Torah institutions in Eretz Israel. The Beit HaMigdash, the King, the Sanhedrin and courts of justice in every village. As Jews that’s what we should be doing, instead of participating as parties, candidates or voters, in elections. Presenting petitions to the “high court” sounds outright blasphemous to me!

Arabs Polluting and Keep Polluting

B"H

Arabs in Judea and in Samaria burn their civil and industrial waste every night, producing irrespirable air. Drive East one evening on Route 5 from Tel Aviv, where the wind blows from, to Petach Tiqva and to Ariel and see and smell the destruction of our fine maintain air for yourself. I wrote a letter to the UN, that was testing the Gush Katif soil for toxins left by Israel after the deportation of the Jews from there, and to the environment ministry, about four years ago. Got back only formal acknowledgement of receipt.. Nobody cares and the Arabs keep pumping out polluting and dangerous toxins every evening of the week.

Israel in general and J.em in particular (2)

B"H

Israel in general and Jerusalem in particular can not be run against the Jews. Jewish Jews I mean. It is intolerable to routinely call Jews in Judea: "settlers". It is intolerable to routinely call Shechem "Nablus". It is the same anti-Jewish nonsense as calling Jerusalem "Alea Capitolina" would be! Why? Because it was the same Roman emperor, Hadrian, who renamed Shechem "Nablus" and Jerusalem "Alea Capitolina" in sign of the dejudaization of the region. Stop the use of the forces of the so-called "Jewish" state against the Jews! These forces meant to protect the Jews and Jewish values and not to be used against them. Shabbat is a Jewish value and parking on Shabbat is a public dessacration of G-d's name. It must not be allowed to go through. Not in the Land of Israel.

Hm, interesting

B"H

The short talkback: I don’t like mounted police in riot gear against religious Jews. Looks like a pogrom.

The long talkback: isn't it interesting that the J.em police suddenly has manpower to do this to the religious? When it was to enforce the court order to escort out the Arab squatters from Mr. Herskovitz's property, after 16 years of legal proceedings, they said they can't do it because they don't have the manpower. Funny country this, of law and order. Ah yeah, and of democracy.

The Conflict Between Jewish and Secular Law

B"H

Barak is the problem, not the solution. If the Democratic Republic of Israel was in - Uganda, let's say, I would have no problems with what he is saying and, doing. But it isn't there, on a neutral land. It is on the Land of Israel, a biblical, G-d given Jewish Holy Land, where we have no liberty to pick and chose between political and legal systems. Here, Torah Law applies. It is therefore either ignorance, arrogance or outright anti-Jewish sentiment to dismiss this fact as irrelevant and I don't know which is less devastating for the Jewish people and for the world as a whole. Let us not forget that peace comes to the world with the Jews living in peace, as Jews, on the Holy Land.

Dear Aviva Shalit

B"H

Dear Aviva Shalit, I always shied away from writing anything about your son's case, because the stakes are so high. Your open letter to me too, nevertheless, now authorizes me to answer.

So, I'll be short and say this: I don't think the Israeli people can help you. I don't think the Israeli government, whatever we might think of it, can help you either. Why? Because the ransom is unreasonable.

There also is halacha (Jewish Law) on this. Jews have had kidnappings all through the generations. Your Gilad is not the first one and will not be the last, G-d forbid.

Our Sages teach us not to pay more than what the hostage's worth, so not to encourage the phenomenon of kidnappings. The price for Gilad's liberation therefore should be 1 (one) ordinary hamas terrorist with no blood on his hands.

As the price set for him by his captors is not one hamas operative, not 10x, not 100x, but a 1000x higher than what we are allowed to pay for him legitimately, it is my opinion that you should not write letters to us, asking us - in substance - to break our laws.

Aviva, you should find a way to get through to the Arab people as a mother and bring your son home. Learn from your three years ordeal: there are certain things mothers do better than Israeli governments. Tell hamas that the release of your son is in their interest, that the world does not accept the kidnapping of soldiers, sons of mothers.

Ali Waked's one sided chioce of words and spreading of lies

B"H

Ali Waked, you seem to be specializing on .. "settlers cut down olive trees" stories.

Your Arab informers may not know this Ali, but you should know by now: these stories are lies. So why are you keep coming up with them again and again? To demonize the Jews? Ali, it is a Torah prohibition to cut down the enemy's fruit trees (Deut. 20:19). But this little detail would not deter a reporter with a mission, would it now, Ali. After all, few know what the Torah says on certain specific issues and the ant-Jewish propaganda will pass and stick, especially in the minds of anti-Semites. After all, were we not accused of all sorts of rubbish in our long and suffered history, like baking matzos with the blood of xtian children? Your stories on Jews cutting down Arab trees, Ali, are the same: lies, pure and simple lies.

What other explanation than Jew-hatred can be given to your one sided choice of words Ali? Let's examine only your first paragraph: "Ibrahim Ayid, of the village of Borin near Nablus, says he cannot complete construction on his home because it has been attacked three times during the past week by settlers".

First of all Ali, you call the Jews in your story "settlers", even if they are not “settlers”. In Judea and in Samaria and in Jerusalem the Jews are at home, they are the natives there, Ali. Read your Bible. Our Second Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans 600 years BEFORE your Muhammad even invented Islam, let alone his followers built the golden dome on our Temple Mount. But forget about this now, we don't want to clash civilizations here but to verify your story.

So, let's talk about your choice of words and limit ourselves to the analysis only of your first paragraph.

The place where the Arab of your story lives you call "village" Ali, whereas the place where the Jews live you call "settlement". Why? Isn't the exact opposite is the historical truth? Jews were here, in Judea and Samaria, long before any Arab. We had Kings and Kingdoms and Capitals and Sanctuaries and Temples and Tombs of Our Heroes all over the place.

But you don't care. You call Shechem "Nablus", the exact same "error" as if you called Jerusalem "Alea Capitolina". Why? Because it was the same Roman Emperor, Hadrian, who changed Shechem's name to "Nablus" and Jerusalem's name to "Alea Capitolina". He did it for a political reason: to symbolize the deportation of the Jews from their Holy Land and the substantial de-Judaization of the region. What is your purpose, Ali?

Problem for Italian FM Frattini and for too many others

B"H

OK Frattini listen, here is a problem for you. I am an Italian citizen resident in Efraim, Samaria. Because I am a Jew and as a Jew I reside here, on my ancient, G-d given Holy Homeland, and as such I will defend it against the enemy, whoever that might turn out to be. It is a mitzvah, a Jewish religious duty, to do so. You say, Frattini, that I should be deported from here, because I'm a Jew and as a Jew you want me to be deported from where I supposed to live as a Jew, for my own good, for "peace". If I were not Jewish, I could stay, according to you and to your distinguished friends in Europe and in America. The question is this: what is the difference between your position today and Mussolini's deportation of the Jews of Italy to the camps and to Germany in the '40s? What IS the difference, Frattini? Never Again! Never! Get off from our backs!

Haber's Conditional Pro Democracy Activism

B"H

In almost every article Mr. Haber puts out, and there are a lot of them in circulation these days, he says something positive about the Hussein Obama administration in connection with something negative about the Netanyahu government here in Israel. Last time, just a few days ago, he suggested Israel to reverse its policy on the "settlements" just because Washington doesn't like it and it might blackmail us by cutting off aid.

Haber forgets two fundamentals:

1.) That Israel, better, the Jews, have their G-d to provide protection, we don't need a new, humanized protector. We all know only too well where those try to lead us.

2.) That the American aid is only 1.6% of Israel's GNP (Gross National Product) and all of it is military aid since '98. So, even a 100% cut-off would not effect the Israeli economy in any substantial way. It could even stimulate our economy, allowing for local projects to develop and go into production.

This time Haber is telling us that we should run our institutions according to the American system, because they are: "not geeks about everything".

Well, they may not be geeks about everything Mr. Haber, but certainly they are Greeks, in the Hellenistic sense of the word, because they are running a system of governance that may be good for them, but that has absolutely nothing to do with Jews, with Judaism or with our tradition.

You see Mr. Haber, democracy is people's power, demos meaning people and cratos power. This is a system the Torah warns us against systematically in many places, with the Golden Calf episode and with the Hanukah story, just to mention two.

The Jews, on the other hand, are told to establish Jewish institutions in Eretz Israel, based on Hashemcracy so to speak, on halacha, on Jewish Law.

Advocating an even closer Israeli assimilation to America is equivalent to further reducing the Jewish character of the state, our differentiation and separation from the nations: an extremist, militant and an exquisitely secular motion. A motion that Israelis rejected at the last election.

Mr. Haber, why don’t you respect the consequences of at least your own un-Jewish “democratic” ideas, if not that of your nationalist political adversaries? Does “democracy” mean something to you only when people bring Labor and Meretz to power?

The Haber Thought

B"H

- Haber: "Indeed, it is true that we must rely on our own strength and power, yet the belligerent world still respects us because the US allows us to lean on its shoulder. We would do well to remember that".

- ABY: This is not the first time I find myself at odds with Haber. What a terrible, terrible, un-Jewish paragraph this is! The belligerent world does not respect us, Haber. If it respected us, it wouldn't demand Efraim, Menaseh, Issachar, Zebulun, Naphtali and Menasseh, known today as "Samaria" and Judea for granting us its "peace".

If Israel relied on the strength of our G-d, who not only bought us out of Egypt and made us arrive here, to our G-d given Holy Land, but kept us alive throughout written history, then and only then we could be doing the right thing again, that is to go on and win the war fought against us by our enemies. Playing this shameful "let's earn some more road-map time" game that we are playing provokes Hashem's wrath and puts Jewish lives constantly in danger: "They [we] provoked Me with a non-god, angered Me with their vanities; so shall I provoke them with a non-people, with a vile nation shall I provoke them (Deut. 32:21).

What is this non-people, this vile nation we are provoked with? The "Palestinians", of course. They were prophesized by Moshe, our teacher, 3000 years ago and invented by Egyptian president Nasser in '64, three years BEFORE Israel liberated its Arab-occupied heartland they called “West Bank”. If President Hussein Obama respected us, he would NOT side with our sworn enemies, with the vile, non-nation!

Re: # 17 Why Israelis Are Reluctant to Uphold Their Rights?

B"H

Why Israelis Are Reluctant to Uphold Their Rights? Very good question Marcella, thank you!

There is a short answer to this, and there is a long one.

The short answer is because they are stupid..

.. And ignorant and don't know who they are and what they are and why they are here (in Israel). So much for the Israeli educational system, after 61 years of statehood. It is not however a "quality of education" problem, it is the result of a historical, political and a cultural battle.

This, however, is already part of the long answer and as it is – well - long, I'd suggest you visit back to this blog from time to time.

The basic Jewish idea on this is that you don't mess with G-d's Holy Land He gave to the Jews to administer it in a specific and detailed manner. If you do, or rather - when you do, you are in trouble. In deep trouble.

As it says in Parsha Haazinu "I shall hide My face from them and see what their end will be - for they are a generation of reversals, children whose upbringing is not in them. They provoked Me with a non-god, angered Me with their vanities; so shall I provoke them with a non-people, with a vile nation shall I anger them." (Deut. 32:20-21) .

The "Palestinian people", invented by Egyptian president Nasser in '64 (3 years before Israel's liberation of the Arab-occupied territories) is clearly this vile and false nation that Hashem sends us as a punishment.

That is one of the reasons it is imperative to change our ways, divorce from the Israeli model and adopt the Torah institutions prescribed for the Jews in Eretz Israel: the Beit HaMigdash on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the King, the Sanhedrin and a Court of Justice in every village.

This is a response to talkback # 17 on "The elephant in the room"

There is already a two state solution

B"H

There is already a two state solution. The Palestinian Mandate was divided to Israel for the Jews and to Jordan for the Arabs by the British. In '48 Jordan occupied Judea, Samaria and parts of Jerusalem by force and called it "West Bank". With the help of G-d Israel liberated these "territories" in '67. Now the Arabs want it back, PRETENDING that it is the second, Arab part of "Palestine". Well, it is not. The second, Arab state in Palestine is Jordan. Abbas' "Palestine" is Judea and Samaria, the Jewish biblical heartland. That is why it should not be given to the Arabs, but to its rightful owners, to the good, mostly religious Jews living there.

IDF Is Not a Jewish Army

B"H

Israel's army is not a Jewish army. It is the only regular army in the world at present that is involved with destruction of homes because they are Jewish and beit midrashim and synagogues. Closing an eye or looking elsewhere does not help. The problem of the IDF is not technical, as Moshe puts it, rather it is ethical and religious. A Jewish army would not harrass Jews. The Israeli army does.

Netanyahu vs Reality

B"H

- Netanyahu: "my vision is of separate Jewish and Palestinian states, living side by side in harmony, "not enmity."

Analysys of the Netanyahu Speech

B"H

Even contemplating the idea of giving away G-d given biblical and historical Jewish Holy Land to the goyim is a major sin and utterly unacceptable.

Attaching conditions to such a move, that makes it unlikely, is a good idea, but doesn't address the underlying issue expressed in the paragraph above.

Israel's narrative should be Jewish. The fact that it is not is a major problem for the Jewish people.

Israel should not play for time. We should be telling the world loud and clear who we are and what are we here for. We should be saying that the Land of Israel is G-d’s and He gave it to us for a purpose, to allow us to be separated from the nations and thus be holy. That’s why we'll fight for it if attacked. As we ARE under attack, we'll fight the Arab invader.

The above is a Jewish narrative and that should be Israel’s narrative too! Leaving G-d out from his speech, Netanyahu committed a major tactical and strategic error that may cost us dear.

Leaving Pollard out cheapened his speach even further, from a Jewish point of view. In conclusion therefore, he proved himself yet again an unworthy, "non-Jewish-minded" leader of a supposedly Jewish country, Israel.

I did it as a Jew!

B"H

I'm happy to inform you that as a Jew living in Samaria I did it again! Just like in past years I bread and released at least a hundred of wild, wild pigs into Palestinian farms in order to destroy them. How did I do it? Simple. First of all I applied to my local Rabbinate asking them for a license to raise pigs. First they seemed to be rather reluctant, but when I explained the plan they said yes and gave me the go ahead. Then, as son of pigs, I went and talked to my parents in pig language and convinced them to be again fruitful and multiply. To my great surprise, they did as I asked them to. Pigs! The next step was to explain, again in pig language, to my new bros and sisters and to everyone else what was expected from them and what to do and how. At this point I let them free. I'm very happy now and proud to hear that they all did exceptionally well: bravo bros! Chrr, Chrr.

"Bibi" or "Prime Minister Netanyahu"?

Memo to Bibi. What your speech should entail.
By Ted Belman

The League of Nations granted to Jews everywhere the right to settle in Judea and Samaria. The Palestine Mandate recognized our right to reconstitute our ancient homeland there. The United Nations is bound by this document.

While that is our right as Jews, we are prepared to relinquish our rights to some of the land pursuant to the Roadmap, providing it is based on Res 242 which authorized us to remain on all the land until we had secure and recognized borders. We insist on borders which are defensible and include all settlement blocks. We further insist that it is our right to keep this land without giving anything in return. Res 242 did not require an exchange of land. It is for us alone to determine what are defensible borders.

Negotiations on all matters must be carried out without undue influence and pressure by the US and the international community. It is our right to say “no” to further compromise and to end negotiations if the Arabs are not willing to compromise.

We insist that the settlements are legal according to international law.

The Roadmap included a settlement freeze “consistent with the Mitchell Report”. This report recommended a settlement freeze as a goodwill gesture by Israel in return for the Palestinians ending terror and incitement. It was predicated on a spirit of compromise expected of both sides. Israel will not make such a gesture until the Arabs comply with the spirit and the letter of this report..
Just as Israel can’t have the lives back which were ended because of Arab terror so too, can’t the Arab have back the land on which our settlements grow.

If the Arabs were willing to compromise as required by the Mitchell Report, there would be no need for a settlement freeze. Without compromise there will be no deal.

Furthermore the Mitchell Report didn’t contemplate the split between Hamas and Fatah. Until there is unity among the Arabs, the Mitchell Report is inoperative.

Res 242 is silent on Jerusalem. Jerusalem is ours.

The Arabs must recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

We insist that any Arab entity created be demilitarized.

Based on these parameters, we accept the two state solution.

Based on the Saudi Plan, we utterly reject it.

I don't see this as "blog informality", Ted. I think it is political, very political, nothing but political and a well thought out leftist media trick to ridicule what they perceive as a right-wing politician (for whom I didn't vote). There is a lot in a name and M. Thatcher could not have won the Falkland war if she’d called the island Maldivas. Also, your constant lack of Torah referencing irritates me, as if the Jews had any other source of claim on the Land. True, the UN voted Israel “in” in '48, but even if it didn’t, we would still have our G-d given and historic right and duty to be here, on our Holy Land and stick to every inch of it. Therefore, the Jewish thing to do is to say this, time and again, instead of trying to buy Road Map time and re-state its conditions.

More on the Eden Natan Zada lynch

B"H

- Nehad Hazam: "He came in order to murder as many Arabs as possible"
- ABY: How does Hazam know what we (Jews) don't know? Does he have access to info to which we don't have access to? How does Hazam know that Zada was not attacked on the bus? Or that someone tried to steal his uzi and he acted in self defense and thus rightfully? Just because then prime minister Sharon declared him a "Jewish terrorist" a few minutes after the news broke, that is before the conclusion of any investigation, doesn't mean that he IS a Jewish terrorist. Sharon also told us that the "disengagement" from Gaza would have bought us peace and security. But even if Zada were a Jewish terrorist (under police arrest), why does Hazam think his fellow citizens have a "right to lynch"? Such a heavily unbalanced person with deep prejudices have a right to be mayor in Israel? Why doesn't the Ministry of Interior allow such a situation to develop? A new, Israeli Ben Nun

B"H

It is said that a name is indicative of one's character and may even influence the bearer’s destiny. I'm sure most readers notice the important surname of this author and compare his opinion with the Ben Nun we know from the Tanach. Strikingly, and in complete contrast with the late general and prophet Yehoshua, this modern day "rabbi" Yoel Ben Nun seem to have lost view of G-d's plan and instructions for the Jewish people: to possess the Land of Israel. The words "Torah", for example, appears only once in his text and in a disputable context: "rav." Yoel suggests that The Torah supposedly forbids the use of violence against policemen or the army when these engage in activity against the Jews on the Land of Israel. It would have been good if this author provided us with sources in support of his absurd view, as it is customary. Words like "G-d", "God" or "god" also are missing from his text, whereas "authority" appears three times and "government" five times. This is indicative of Ben Nun and suggests that he maybe worshipping government authority rather than G-d.

Plocker's baseless assumption

B”H

Plocker assumes that ministers are managers. Well, they are not. Systems and structures and sectors and the country work despite of them, not because of them.

The Torah tells the Jews to have a Beit Hamigdash on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, a King, a Sanhedrin and courts of justice in every village in Eretz Israel. Why can't Jews have their own, Torah-prescribed institutions? Why are we forced into the suit of another man and have to have the alien “democratic” system of the nations ruling over us?

It is time to give Judea and Samaria over to the Jews and declare a Jewish Kingdom there. Enough already of this nonsense talk of giving our biblical and historic homeland over to our arch-enemies, the Arabs. This is only a reflection of a non-Jewish thinking-process coming from non-Jewish institutions.

Let's resist normalization

B"H

Declaring one's own group "normal" implies attributing "not normal" status to everyone else. This is a dangerous and Stalinist development, as former Russian dictator Stalin used to put some of his political rivals in mental institutions. The real issue here is not so much who is normal and who is not, but who is a Jew and who is – well, not. Jews are Jews in as much as they lead Jewish lives and a Jewish life is governed by Jewish Law. It is unfortunate that the ones who hold power in Israel are all too often disregard Jewish Law and thus PROVOKE the Jews who want to lead Jewish lives in Eretz Israel. This fact alone emphasizes the need for the establishment of a Jewish national home for the Jews, something that the secular , so-called Jewish, establishment keep fighting against, on ideological grounds. Pity. See http://www.samsonblinded.org/titles/Judea.htm

RE: #1, #3, #4 on Eden Natan Zada

B"H

Eden Natan Zada was lynched by the Arab mob while he was neutralized and handcuffed by police. There is no "self-defence" argument that holds in light of the facts. The Arab Members of Knesset quoted, therefore, are lying.

Let's reverse the charge and say this

B"H

I have family perished in the Shoa and I dare reverse the charge and I dare say this, watch my lips: failing to call a spade a spade, a Nazi a Nazi, a pogrom a pogrom, a “let’s send them damn settlers to jail” an anti-Jewish fool, is licensing and aiding the present-day perpetrator: the “secular Jew”. Let us let them know exactly what they are, simple soldier on the field or distinguished general in his ivory tower may he be.

Why? Because Jews follow G-d and His Law for the Jews and Nazis follow state orders to destroy Jews in the name of the "law" of the land. Be aware: Hi*ler in Germany was perfectly legal, Ferdinand and Isabella in Spain were perfectly legal. The law of the land never guarantees morality. It's as simple as that. Tell me who you follow and I tell you what you are. Simplistic? Yes. Sharp? Yes. Unjustified? No. Why not? Because it is time to choose. Either you are with the Jews or you are with the nations. There is no middle ground now.

Hashem is separating the mordechais from the ones who went to participate in the banquette of King Ahasuerus, the good from the bad and if there are secular Jews, they are advised to be less secular and more Jews. The time to have it both ways is over.

There is no reason

B"H

There is no reason Israel should give Judea & Samaria to the Arabs. It should be given to the Jews living there. There is a legitimate biblical and historic Jewish claim on the G-d given Holy Land of the Jews, no different from that of Tel Aviv, Ashdod or Haifa. Pogroms are unacceptable here.

Re: # 1 plus extention

B"H

I agree with you Steve and not for the first time. Please join the jewishyisrael mailing list on www.thetorahrevolution.blogspot.com. Having said that I would like to extend on your comment.

What's sad however is that even bright guys like Sofer fail to think outside of the box. And I mean fail to think Jewish. Why? Because they fear it is “unrealistic”. Or because they fear it would not be “understood”. I say these are unwarranted fears.

What do I mean? I mean that he actually types the fraise "Politics does not enable the existence of a pure and ideal state over time" - yet he shies away from drawing the only - Jewish - conclusion possible: quit politics!

The Jewish nation is the only one that have survived written history and this unique and remarkable and continuous victory is not achieved by playing politics. Quite the opposite: it's due to the rigid refusal of partaking in the compromise game, in what we call knesset today.

The only plan that proved itself over time for the Jews is G-d's plan. It might not be a "peace plan", sometimes it might even be a "war plan", we might not immediately understand its ins and outs, but it is the only survival or "how to be successful" plan and we know for sure that it works. You don’t need to be “religious” to understand this simple fact, it is enough to look into the mirror and see a living Jew facing you: a miracle you shouldn’t take for granted. This is the visible sign and should prove to anyone with a thinking head that we don't need to re-invent hot water, peace plans, road maps and whatnots. We have one plan we know works: the Torah!

That is why it is mind-bugling for me not to see a massive push to have Jewish Torah institutions in Eretz Israel: in order for us to survive in this hostile environment we have to break out of this Hellenistic trap called "democracy" we are forced in to. It is in fact unreasonable to think that our G-d given survival plan that worked for 5000 years, won’t work us now. You don’t need to be religious to understand this point: you need to be rational.

The Torah clearly tells us what institutions to set up in Eretz Israel and how to run them: the Beit Hamigdash on the Temple Mount in Yerushalayim, the King, the Sanhedrin and courts of justice in every village. We shouldn’t have this “democratic” system, it may be good for the nations, but it is alien to us.

Therefore the first step of action to survive as Jews is to disengage from knesset, from the alien system forced upon us. The first step for a Jew for peace is not to vote!

Who started it? And how it can end?

B"H

- Settler violence began Monday morning as a group of masked youths began blocking roads in the West Bank.

- ABY: Settler violence began Monday morning as a group of masked skinheads in uniform attacked Jewish youth on their G-d given Holy Land, beat them up, illegally handcuffed and detained them.

The skinheads in uniform were so violent, they beat up even a member of knesset.

This punishment squad put up by securitate chief Aharonovitch is dangerous, has nothing to do with Jews and with Jewish values and it clearly is out of control.

Their possible aim may be to provoke a civil war in Israel. That would topple the Netanyahu coalition and pave the way for the securitate dictatorship. At that point the command would be handed over to the Americans and they would ethnic-cleanse Judea, Samaria and parts of Israel of Jews. We've seen this in the past in many places and so there is no reason to pretend that it cannot happen here and now. Don't tell me I didn't warn you: the situation can degenerate in weeks, not in months.

PA has money

B"H

PA has money by the truckload to buy fire engines, instead maybe of SUVs, latest Mercedeses and illegal superluxus villas with multiple terraces, why don't they put out their fires themselves? Why Israel keeps on giving them free water, electricity, and now it turns out, fire fighting service, is beyond me.

Yes, of course [sarcastic]

B"H

Yes, of course destroying homes and lives and detaining the underaged in handcuffs and beating up MKs is perfectly legal and even desirable as long as the pogrom is carried out in the name of the "law" by "security forces" and the victims are "right wing" (read Jews).

News for Gadi Taub

B"H

OK Gadi Taub, so here is a better "settler" argumentation for you and for the ones like you. We want to hold on to the Land because we are Jews and this Land, Judea and Samaria that you dare call by its Arab name, "West Bank", is reserved for the Jews by Hashem, our G-d, that we repute is King of the universe. May His Holy Name be blessed and sanctified and may He help us liberate His Land from all the non-Jewish occupiers and idol worshippers. Jews are never liked by tyrants because they are (meant to be) faithful to their G-d, King of the universe. For this reason your writing is anti-Jewish. The Jewish cause is to put Jews on the Land G-d gave to the Jews.

Cup empty or full?

B"H

The fact that illegal squatter Muhammad Khaled 21, who was delivering vegetables from one illegal Arab settlement to another illegal Arab settlement on the Jewish road and lived to tell his story to peace-partner Ali Waked of ynet, says a lot about Jewish patience and misplaced self-restraint, especially in presence of unprecedented Democratic State of Israel harassment of and violence against the Jews on their G-d given Holy Land. The Barak pogroms are to be condemned in the strongest of terms.
